I've been a huge fan since 1986. It's a funny story how I listened to Bon Jovi for the first time. My mom had asked me to go to the bakery and I didn't want to go, as a teenager sometimes you get a little rebellious. Anyway, I went and when I entered the bakery " Never say goodbye" was playing on the bakery radio. I fell in love with the song and thanked my mom for making me go to the bakery that day. I wasn't really into English by the time but I was curious to get the meaning of the song. There wasn't google and I had to be a self student. I recorded the song on a cassete tape and rewinded so many times until I got the lyrics. My mom bought me the record for my birthday and I was glad to check the lyrics and see my good job! Afterwards I wouldn't stop. I would write down all the lyrics to memorize them and to understand the meaning using a dictionary i borrowed from the town library. My mom noticed I was really interested in learning English and she paid for school. I studied for a couple of years and was invited to be a teacher there. I majored in Languages and became a real English Teacher. I'm thankful for all my professors, friends and my parents who supported and encouraged me to get to where I am now. However, i must say that my very first English teacher was Jon Bon Jovi. I'll be forever thankful for that!
